David Todd Butler, 45, of Longview passed away at his home, Friday, August 14, 2009, after a short battle with Melanoma.

Todd was born April 18, 1964 in Longview to Gerald and Joyce Nettles Butler. He was a 1982 graduate of Pine Tree High School. He attended Kilgore College and graduated from the International Aviation and Travel Academy in Dallas. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and had worked in the rental car industry. He was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in Longview.

Todd is survived by his parents, Jerry and Becky Butler of Longview, His brothers and sisters-in-law. Greg Butler of Longview, Stephen Butler & Kristen Adkins, Scott and Adrienne Butler of Austin Texas, his sister, Elizabeth Butler of Carrollton Texas, his grandmothers Elizabeth Nettles of Brookhaven Mississippi, Audrey Rainey of Longview, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

At Todd's request there will be no formal services held.
