Henry Wayne Baumgardner, 58, of Longview Texas, completed his earthly journey and was promoted to heaven on January, 10 2022.
Henry Baumgardner was born on February 25, 1963 to James C. and Chorlsue Baumgardner in Longview, Texas. Henry was the youngest of four children. He was preceded in death by his mother Chorlsue Baumgardner. Henry is survived by his father James C. Baumgardner and wife Alene. His son Derek Baumgardner and wife Adriane, and their two children Stella and Henry of Longview, Texas. His son Ryan Baumgardner and wife Elizabeth, and their daughter Madeline of Longview, Texas; brother, Les Baumgardner and wife Kathy of Lake Cherokee; Sisters Ida Aycock and husband Kirk of Henderson; Janet Adams and husband John of East Mountain. Niece Rebecca Aycock and husband Aaron; Nephew Dillon Haltom. Many great nieces and nephews, close friends, and extended family.
Henry was a loving and committed father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. At a young age, Henry shared an excitement with his siblings and cousins, spending time hunting, exploring, and fishing on the family farm in Arkansas. Those same pastimes carried with him throughout his life- Henry was an avid outdoorsman, finding enjoyment on the water and in the woods. Henry Graduated from Pine Tree High School class of 1982. He loved spending time with family and held close to his heart the friendships of those in his graduating class. By trade, Henry was a talented welder, fabricator, and mechanic. Henry enjoyed the creative design process with fabricating equipment specific to the oil and gas industry. In addition, Henry had a passion for classic car restoration and its history. Henry was an exuberant man, filled with love, kindness, happiness and a contagious spirit.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 14, 2022, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Rader Funeral Home located at 1617 Judson Rd. Longview, TX 75605. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Senior Pastor Jay Jackson, First United Methodist Church of Longview. Burial will follow at Rosewood Park located at 1884 Farm to Market Rd 144 Longview, TX 75605.
