Funeral services for Laura Ellen Reed, 46, of Longview, Texas, will be 4:15 PM Wednesday at T. G. Field Auditorium with Reverend Jace Roberts officiating. Interment will follow in Rosewood Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends at Rader Funeral Home, Longview, from 6 to 8 PM Tuesday.

Ms. Reed passed away on November 28, 2009 in a Longview hospital.

Laura was born October 25, 1963 in Grand Saline, Texas, to Jim W. and Mary Lou Reed and had lived most of her life in Longview. Laura was data processing manager at Longview High School where she coordinated class schedules for some 180 teachers and 2500 students each semester. She had worked at Longview High School from 1986 to present time and was a true LOBO fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim W. Reed. Those left to cherish her memory are her mother, Mary Lou Reed of Longview, brothers: Jimmy Reed and wife Mikki of Kilgore and Terry Bankhead and wife Samantha of Longview, nephews: Jacob and Coltin Reed of Kilgore, Niece: Kasyn Reed of Kilgore, uncles: Jerry Bankhead of Dallas and Charley Bankhead and wife Cathy of Houston, aunts: Peggy Fox of Greenville and Martha Reed and husband Jack of Longview, a number of cousins and many close friends.
