Rusty Waggoner

Mass of Christian burial for Russell Wayne "Rusty" Waggoner, Jr., 36, of Longview, Texas, will be celebrated at 10am, Monday, February 19, 2001, at St Matthew's Catholic Church, 2800 Pine Tree Road with Monsignor John Flynn officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. A rosary will be recited at 7:30pm, Februrary 18, 2001, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel, 1617 Judson Rd, Longview, Texas.

Mr. Waggoner died on Thursday, February 15, 2001, in a Longview hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Waggoner was born on April 13, 1964, in Henderson, Texas. He had been a resident of Longview for the past 30 years. Mr. Waggoner was the manager of Longview Pest Control. He was active in the Cub Scouts as a Den Leader, a member of the Knights of Columbus and an affiliate member of the Longview Board of Realtors. Mr. Waggoner also taught his Sunday School class at St Matthew's Catholic Church, where he was a member.

Mr. Waggoner is survived by his wife, Rosanne Waggoner of Longview, one son, Russel Waggoner III; two daughters, Allisan and Ariel Waggoner, both of Longview, his father and stepmother, Wayne and Olivia Waggoner of Longview, his mother and stepfather, Joann and Gaylon Wright of Henderson; his grandmother, Thelma Miller of Henderson; his sister and brother-in-lawy, Kathy and Les Baumgardner of Longview, his sister, Kelly Sexton of Ore City; one stepsister, Eddie Barnes of Longview; one aunt and uncle, Rex and Patricia Berry of Henderson, and numerous nieces and nephews.
