Graveside services for Terry Dale Blakney, 46, of Longview will be 10 a.m. Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Rosewood Park Cemetery with his close cousin, Brother Lance Sims officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Mr. Blakney passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at a local hospital in Longview. Mr. Blakney was born in Chicago, Ill. on July 22, 1963. He graduated at Pine Tree High School in 1982.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Zella Steele. He is Survived by his loving wife of 19 years Rhonda Figley Blakney; son Trever Blakney; brother Don Blakney and his wife Helen; father Bob Steele; family in love James and Susie Figley; sisters and brothers-in-law Monica and Wade Sherman, Amanda Figley and Jason Mettler; nieces and nephews Cohle, Mason, and Luke Sherman; Jason Blakney, Stephanie, Kayla, and Joseph Monk, Jacob Mettler; numerous Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
