Services for Jerry Wayne Carter, Jr., 18, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and formerly of Longview, Texas, will be held at 2pm, Monday, at Rader Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Price officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery.

Mr. Carter was born on June 14, 1964, and died from injuries he received in an automobile accident on May 5, 1983, in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Having lived most of his life in Longview, Texas, he attended Pine Tree High School until his sophomore year. He graduated from high school in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was a Houston, Texas, native.

Survivors include his father, Jerry of Corpus Christi, his mother, Mrs. Red Rushing of Longivew; sisters Janice Carter of Houston and Raina Carter and Wreathye Carter, both of Longviefw; his grandparents, James Biddy of Magnolia and Mrs. Susie Blanton of Hot Springs, Arkansas, and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
